Holiday Menu

As I said on Facebook, "It's beginning to look a like dishes....everywhere you go."

It started with the home made honey butter and bread that I baked for gifts. At this point in the week I've made over 20 loaves of bread...actually I've lost count. Today I will make more! And then I'll make some tomorrow. I've also made about a dozen jars of honey butter.

B has made fish stock, turkey stock and beef stock for the French Onion Soup.

I made a peanut butter cheesecake with a pretzel crust and a Jewish apple cake.

Today we'll have Christmas Eve at my mom's with appetizers. I'm making buffalo chicken dip and B is making ribs. We'll bring the leftover fish stew. My brother is making smoked oysters. We'll also have salmon, bacon wrapped shrimp, other dips, brownies, Mikey treats and some other super delicious things I can't even remember right now.

Tomorrow I am attempting oyster dressing, making more bread and some baked garlic cheese grits. My sister in law is hosting and making Beef Wellington. My mom is bringing mushrooms. I've heard rumors about tiramisu.
